Day 2 Wednesday August 15, 2012: Tel Aviv – Zurich
Today we will visit Walensee Lake which is one of the largest lakes in Switzerland and we will enjoy a boat ride to Quinten and to Sargans. We will admire snow capped mountains and sparkling lakes. Continue to Bad Ragaz which owes its popularity to its thermal springs which have therapeutic properties for treating rheumatism and respiratory disorders. The old town covers a small area and has a parish church built in the 18th century. Inside are baroque wall printings. We will continue to Liechtenstein where will stop at the capital Vaduz. Day 3: Thursday, August 16, 2012: Interlaken – Trummelbach Falls - Bern
Travel to Interlaken in the Bernese Oberland, where we will see the mighty Jungfrau (subject to weather conditions). Interlaken is one of the oldest and most popular tourist resorts in Switzerland. We will visit Trummelbach Falls – one of the more unique waterfalls experiences. What makes this waterfall stand out is that its nestled deep in a slot canyon carved out by the powerful waterfall itself. We will also visit Berne, the federal capital of Switzerland. Day 4: Friday, August 17 2012: Rhine Falls – Basel
We will travel to Northern Switzerland to see the beautiful Rhine
Falls – Europe's largest
waterfall. Capture stunning photographs
of the natural beauty of the area.
Before returning back to our
hotel we will visit Basel which has a beautiful medieval town
center, a carnival that ranks with those of Venice and Rio de
janerio and several world class
art museums. The city is rich
with architecture old and new. We will see the Cathedral and
Town
Hall. After the tour we will go back to our hotel and prepare for
Shabbat.

Day 6: Sunday, August 19, 2012: Lucerne – Mount Titlis
After breakfast we will travel over Albis pass along the shores
of the lake of four cantons
before arriving in the quaint town of
Lucerne. We will see the Lion monument, the Chapel
bridge admire
the town hall and the new concert and congress hall. Our next stop
is Mount
Titlis, at 10.000 feet is central Switzerland loftiest
peak exuding a snow and ice spectacular
that is visually
stunning. We will ride the revolving rotair, an aerial cable car
that delivers
amazing 360 degree panoramic views of the snow
covered valleys, glaciers, lakes, forests
and mountains in

Day 7: Monday, August 20, 2012: Grimsel pass - Rhone Pass – Schollenen Gorge
Out trip takes us from meiringen through the rugged and spectacular scenery around the Grimsel pass, dominated by dams, power plant facilities and granite rock to the Alpine junction of Gletsch. Then travel on the mountain route through the romantic Rotten/Rhone River Gorge Geltsch-Oberwald. We return to the hotel via Gotthard Massif and Schollenen Gorge. Day 8: Tuesday, August 21, 2012: Zurich – Tel Aviv
After breakfast we'll bid farewell to Zurich and to its amazing
views, and we'll make our way
