Enjoying the warmth of the Canary Islands at

Clients searching for Sunshine last Winter embarked on the Brand New luxurious Costa Fortuna as she sailed on a roundtrip journey of epic

proportions. From Barcelona, the city famed for its splendid stylish architecture, to enchanting Casablanca in North Africa. Volcanic Lanzarotte and the majestic Tenerife were their next discoveries and then their Atlantic cousin Madeira with its spectacular landscapes and sumptuous gardens. Then onwards to Malaga, a Spanish city of Moorish mystique. At Savona, we visited the historic synagogues of Piedmont and enjoyed the breathtaking scenery. All this while delighting in dining strictly glatt kosher in our own designated area of the ship’s elegant Dining room, and enjoying the many amenities and fun activities available on board.

While enjoying this unforgettable experience, our group was privileged with the unique opportunity of being accompanied by our very special guest lecturer - the world-renown Rabbi Dr. Nathan Lopes Cardozo, a captivating speaker and highly regarded author and Ambassador for Judaism with his unique insights into Jewish thought and practice.

Rabbi Cardozo spoke during the cruise on "Sephardic Jewry, its intellectual history and its influence on Jewish tradition" and further enriched our experience with his immense knowledge and appreciation of the Jewish and broader philosophical influences and history of the region. More>>
