Overview
Our passengers discovered the Mediterranean's sun-baked beaches and rustic villages, ancient ruins and glamorous cities. The itinerary transported us to the hidden corners of history, culture and nature in the land of Roman baths, crumbling ruins, sapphire-blue waters and sun-baked villages boasting stunning landscapes that were all part of the vastly diverse Mediterranean seaside.
All this, and much more, awaited us when they boarded Costa Fortuna for an unforgettable cruise around Italy and the Greek Islands.
We set sail from the romantic & fascinating city of Venice, where we were mesmerized by the stunning cliff top town of Thera on the dramatic Santorini island - founder of the legend of Atlantis – as well as intrigued by Bari's mushroom-shaped stone houses dating back to 3000 B.C.E. We explored also the spectacular ruins of Olympia, playground to the ancient Greek gods on a trip that provided an unending array of spectacular moments and a lifetime of memories to share.
Of course, all this was while we basked in the comfort and style and enjoyed the multitude of facilities, activities and wonderful service of the Costa Fortuna Cruise Ship - the perfect setting for a truly relaxing break.
Our passengers embarked on this magnificent cruise while Eddie’s Travel world class chefs delighted their pallets throughout with Glatt Kosher Gourmet Cuisine in superb ambiance.
