EDDIE FREUDMANN z'l

Founder

Eddie Freudmann z'l was one of the original pioneers of kosher travel when he founded his kosher travel company in London in 1975. He succeeded in quickly establishing a reputation as an innovator in the novel field of kosher tours when he began operating the world's first Kosher Pesach Program in a hotel in Italy. Eddie z'l brought his creative kosher travel business to Israel when he made Aliyah in 1977, and continued pioneering new ideas of kosher travel by initiating the kosher cruising concept. Through his keen eye for all that is new and exciting in kosher touring, and his uncompromising stance on personalized service and maintaining the highest kashrut standards, Eddie z'l succeeded in putting Eddie's Travel in the forefront of the quality kosher travel industry a tradition perpetuated today by the Walles family.

DAVID & CHANA WALLES

Business and Operations Managers

Originally from Melbourne Australia, David & Chana and their 4 kids are a well travelled vibrant modern orthodox family.

In addition, following their passion for the kosher travel sector David and Chana developed 'Oz Kosher Getaways', a business whose 5 star Pesach program soon became the premium Pesach getaway of Australia and the pacific Region - with all the trimmings. They both have a Bachelor of Business with a major in Marketing and have completed Certificates in Event Management. David & Chana believe that travelling and keeping Kosher should be fun, exciting and uncompromising on quality - making them a perfect match for Eddie's travel!

Travel & Reservations Manager

Shelley has been in the travel industry for over 30 years and has worked for Eddie's Travel for the past 12 years. Specializing in flights, hotel accommodation and cruises, Shelley gives our clients a personal professional service that ensures they return year after year.
Shelley is deeply involved in our Chagim Hotel Programs for Pesach, Shavuot and Sukkot in Israel and is renowned for going out of her way to ensure that your family vacation will be an experience that will always be remembered.

MENAHEM FOGEL

Tour Operations Manager

A native of Tel Aviv-Jaffa, Menahem Fogel served as a pulpit rabbi in South Africa and Canada before returning to Israel in 1984 to take up the position of spokesman of Yad Vashem, the Holocaust Martyrs & Heroes Remembrance Authority in Jerusalem, a position he held for six years.
Since that time he has held senior positions in both the public and private sectors as he developed interactive computer systems for museums around the world. He has also lived and worked in the Netherlands, Austria, the UK and India. A lifelong yearning for travel reaching back to a visit to Victoria Falls in 1968 led to his becoming a Tour Operator / Manager in 2000 and developing expertise tourism to Japan & China, Alaska & the Canadian Rockies, and Africa.

YONAH ENGEL

Cruise Operations Manager

Yonah has been involved in the travel & hospitality sector for over 14 years, thus bringing his extensive knowledge and expertise to guarantee you an amazing holiday.
Yonah will handle all aspects of your cruise, be it as an individual or joining one of our deluxe kosher group cruises.
He is also our in-house expert on travel insurance. In his free time, Yonah is an avid yachtsman.

TALY LEV

Events Co-ordinator

Taly from Lev Events Company has many years within the hospitality business. A BA degree at the Bar Ilan University and now completing her Masters in Finance. Taly's many years and experience in the Tour and Hotel Industry and love of dealing with people and seeing their dreams come true, blessing each event with her personal touch,working behind scenes, making sure everything works to the exact tick of a clock.
Taly is very well known within the Religious sector and has gained enormous respect throughout the industry. Her knowledge of the country and her understanding and love of what she does will ensure that your SIMCHA will be a memorable occasion.  

DENA WIMPFHEIMER

Public Relations and Marketing

Dena is the Founder and President of DJW Consulting, an Israel-based full service marketing and communications consultancy. A graduate of Queens College of the City University of New York with degrees in Media, Business and Industrial Psychology, Dena has extensive experience working with companies, organizations and private individuals looking for customized communications strategies in Israel and around the world.

An expert in media relations, she is also actively involved in event production on behalf of a variety of prominent clients. Dena made aliya in 2001 and is the mother of four children.

ALIZA HADAR

Accounts and Administration

Aliza is responsible for the accounts department at Eddie's Travel. She is an Olah Chadasha with marketing and logistics job experience from her former position in America. Aliza's outstanding organizational and accounting skills facilitate proficiency and efficiency to offer our customers superior service that is our trademark in the travel industry
